PASTEL GHOST is a synthpop artist from Oakland, California, and currently based in Austin, Texas. She self-released two EPs, Dark Beach EP and Shadows EP, before signing to 80s Ladies Records for the release of her debut full-length album, Abyss. The album was released on March 10, 2015 digitally and as a limited edition CD available on Bandcamp. On February 17, 2017, PASTEL GHOST released the single "Possession." This was followed by two more singles, "Mercury" and "3NDL3SS" released on August 31 and September 27, 2018, respectively.
